Our Projects

We are planning a whole series of events in the coming year to enable us to keep the funding going for the kids. It has been a very tough 6 months in all of Europe but more so in the Ukraine where inflation is currently operating at around 25%. This means that £100 last year is worth a great deal less.

Charity Dinner 2011

The Dnipro Appeal will hold their annual Charity Dinner on Friday 28th October 2011 at Easter Road Stadium. Tickets for this event are priced at £35 and there is discount available when a full table of 10/12 is booked.

The evening will be hosted by the Dnipro Appeal Patron and lifelong Hibby Grant Stott.

Guest Speaker for the evening is: George McNeill a former footballer with Hibernian, Morton and Stirling Albion.  

The singer for the evening is Kirsty Laird.

The evening commences at 7pm - 1am and includes a 3 course meal, auction, raffle and disco.

Turnstile Collection 2011

Many thanks go to Hibernian Football club who allowed us a further Turnstile Collection this season.

The date of the collection was for the Aberdeen match, Sunday 11th September 2011 and thanks to an army of volunteers who shook the collection buckets, a staggering £1362 was raised. 

Last year we had two collections at the stadium and raised an amazing £1900. With only one collection this season, we are absolutely delighted with the collection amount. Thanks once again for the generosity shown, by the Hibernian fans, as well as the Aberdeen fans and Hibernian Football Club for allowing us to have the collection. This money will go a long way to ensuring that the lives of the 300+ kids is for the better.
